Hubby’s Convinced

My husband is convinced we need a burglar alarm because there have been some break ins in the neighborhood but I just don’t know. With the boys in and out of the house and my dad living in the basement I feel like there are enough people here at any given time to really take care of the place but maybe he’s right – that’s not the worst idea he’s ever had. He let my dad move inabout 6 months ago, too, so I feel like I owe it to him to give in a little bit more since he’s making a big sacrifice for me. I know neither of us really wanted our parents to live with us but now that dad’s older I just feel like it’s the right thing to do, that way I can really take care of him and spend time with him in his last years. My dad is really self-sufficient for his age, too, and he doesn’t ask for a lot so it’s actually been nice having him here!
